About

Kirsten has been performing since the age of 3, professionally since the age of 11. She is an experienced singer, arranger, conductor, actress and voiceover artist who decided about 15 years ago to become a teacher and mentor. Music is her passion and that is evident in every project she approaches. Although she no longer tours, she is an avid session singer and sings on many diverse projects all over the world. She also is an industry figure and often sits in to give feedback for talent showcases; she also judged the VanCity Idol contest in 2013.
Kirsten has dual citizenship with Canada and the UK but is currently based in Vancouver, BC. Kirsten studied at The Central School of Speech and Drama in London after working in NYC. She based herself in London for 15 years where she toured the UK, Europe and The Middle East. She then moved to South Korea where she taught singing to professional Korean musical theatre artists and hosted English language TV shows.
She is experienced in working with social and emotionally at-risk youth as well as youths with Asberger's and Dyslexia. She worked for years as the Voice, Speech & Performance specialist at The Fraser Academy (a private school for Dyslexics).
Kirsten is also very experienced in working with singers with nodules or "nodes". She has successfully retrained numerous vocalists/speakers/teachers/lawyers and helped them avoid having surgery to remove their vocal nodules.
